At first I was thinking of having a second set of tires for when I know it is going to be hard packed riding, but by the end of the week, I decided I would keep the Silverbacks all the time after seeing how they perform when blazing trails. Wear=Equal, both wear extremely well! They feel like they are about the same hardness of rubber.īasically, if you want a hardcore mud tire, that is one bad muther off trail, get some Silverbacks! Both tires can be used on trails and will wear like iron, but don't expect sportscar or even minivan handling on trails! They work fine, but you'll need to slow down a bit more in corners compared to stock tires or other trail tires. The Mudzilla's did well, but required a little extra effort due to tire spin and they didn't seem to grip as well on the logs. They climbed through stuff without even breaking loose at all, even to the point that both front tires came off the ground without loosing traction while crawling offroad. I was very impressed with the way they bite onto stuff, like down trees, branches, and dirt mounds. Off trail/trail blazing= Silverbacks take this big time! The Silverbacks in mud and off trail in thick woods are absolute beasts! They grip, grab, climb, and pull like a bulldozer. SuperATV Assassinator UTV / ATV Mud Tire for RZR, X3, General, Maverick.
